Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Owner Of Cellular Pet Salon In Hillsborough
James Taylor is deeply concerned about the experience that his five-pound JUJU had last weekend. Taylor said that after Jujur was bitten by a dog, the groomer taped his mouth shut. The result? A bloody, distressed dog.
Taylor explained, "My pet was clearly distressed. What I initially thought was a muzzle turned out to be tape. Jujur's feet were visible red and damaged, with toenails that were too close to paws. This likely triggered Jujur biting.
Puppy Lux, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.
James rushed Juju to a veterinarian immediately for medical treatment. In joining other individuals who have also made similar claims, he has accused Puppy lux of animal abuse. San Mateo's Office has now launched an animal cruelty investigation into Puppy Lux.
James described his observations, saying "I saw wounds in the genital, neck, and near the joints." The cuts were severe enough to cause bleeding."
Jack Smithr posted on Yelp a review about how Puppy Lux returned his animals to him in a bad condition or with injuries. One customer posted a Snapchat clip of a dog who appeared to be in distress, alleging that the groomer forced a napkin down its ear.
Puppy Lux, in addition to the bad Yelp reviews and the fact that he was trusted to take care of their pets, wants his customers to know what the groomer said. James said, "Jonny told me that tapering the mouth shut was a normal, acceptable method. He claimed it is better than using a muzzle which, according to him, can be harmful for dogs. He also said he personally used this method on his dog."
Fox called Puppy Lux and she answered, but then handed the phone over to another check here woman who told Fox that they were looking into the allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
